Riding and paying for the journey to Jakarta’s international airport just got even easier with TCASH now accepted on Railink to Soekarno–Hatta International Airport

Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), was on hand recently at the inauguration of the direct train service to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Telkomsel is making the trip form Jakarta to the airport even more convenient with TCASH now being accepted by Railink, the operator of the airport train.

“TCASH continues to develop services to enable customers to use cashless transactions in everyday life, including on transportation that has become one of our key focuses for 2018. We hope that the presence of TCASH as one of the airport train payment methods can benefit the community, to help support the government in providing an integrated transportation system as a solution to reduce congestion, “said Danu Wicaksana, CEO of TCASH.

To purchase a train ticket, TCASH customers just visit the ticketing machines located at various stations served by the airport train, such as the airport, Sudirman Baru and Batu Ceper. To encourage passengers to try the new train experience which reduce, traffic congestion, TCASH is providing its tap-to-pay users a 20 percent cashback for every airport train ticket purchased until the end of January for payments at the Sudirman Baru and Soekarno-Hatta Airport stations.

 

This integration with Railink is part of a wider strategy by TCASH to roll out other transportation options in Indonesia.

“In January, TCASH will also develop a similar airport train payment service in Medan, for the route from Medan to Kualanamu Airport.”, Danu said.

TCASH have been very successful in launching their mobile money solution to market in Indonesia to date. In addition to transportation, TCASH services also include airtime and data recharge; purchase of electrical tokens; payment of various types of bills (such as water, BPJS, insurance, and cable TV); purchase of game vouchers; P2P (peer to peer) remittances and merchant payments including recent additions, Starbucks and Burger King. As at the end of 2017, TCASH served more than 10 million customers spread across all 34 provinces throughout Indonesia.
